Submission Alternative
When LFW initially started, It was simple. Add this Snapchat account to view the story, and if you wanted to submit for a chance to be featured on the story, just send a snap. It would either get approved and posted or rejected if it wasn't what fit in the feed. It worked seamless and flawless; what I'd do to get that back someday. But unfortunately, Snapchat has made significant changes as time went on, and those changes inadvertently affects the bones of how LFW was started. If you are curious on the changes, I will be making a History page shortly.
Shameless plug, but Snapchat VIP functions exactly like how we started and it costs only $5.99 a month. People like it, and well worth the price for the convenience.
The Submission Alternative is fairly simple. TLDR; Add our number to your contacts Take a snap, copy link to it and text it to us and we are able to open the link and save it, then posting it to the Submission Feed. This should allow us to now receive submissions without the challenges we have been facing with keeping a Submission Snapchat account live beyond a couple days or weeks.
One Note- Because the alternative way to receive snaps requires PC use on my end, We only view/post them at mornings and nights. (VIP is posted multiple times a day as it operates phone based)
Add Contact
Start by adding the LFW contact number to your contacts.
Take a Snap, Save
Take a picture inside the Snapchat app. Add your text, Hashtag and any artistic edits you wish to do.
Hit the "save" button on the bottom left, then tap it again to open the share page.
It will save your image to your Snapchat folder on your device. Some people may like keeping record of what they send in. You can delete the download at any point after tapping the "save" button
Copy Link, Text it to us
After copying that link, Search "LFW" in your contacts, it should have saved as "LFW Submissions". Send the link by pasting it as a text message. If you did not initially download your contact card, scroll up to the top of the page to access it.
All done!
Feel free to send as many snaps as you would like to. Because this method requires PC use, I open/view them at mornings and nights. They also must be fresh snaps, not gallery uploads. (Then its not "Live From Wisco"). To learn how to view the Submission Feed, click the link below.
